WalkSafe Monroe is a civic engagement group dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Downtown Monroe, NC, the Historic District, and beyond. Our mission is to improve neighborhood safety and walkability by partnering with residents, businesses, economic development councils, and local or state governments.
We’re inviting the community to support our proposal for new sidewalk funding through a petition and by sharing feedback on our FY27 sidewalk funding initiative. Your participation helps demonstrate broad community support and guides advocacy to make Monroe’s streets safer, more connected, and accessible for everyone.
